On the Move

In spring 2015, with VIDEONALE.15, Videonale Bonn celebrated its 30th anniversary. More than 1000
video works have been presented since the festival was founded in Bonn in 1984, and to celebrate the
start of the “season” and the end of the busy summer holidays, Videonale will be showing a selection of
videos from the last 20 years. In eight different works, “On the Move” presents physical, topographical or
intellectual processes of movement and change.

Videonale receives the EFFE label

The EFFE Label, awarded by the international festival’s platform EFFE – Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe has for the first time been given to 761 festivals from 31 countries for the outstanding quality of their artistic work. We are very pleased about this appreciation!

Under the name of this year’s competition, Videonale’s programme will now set off to the first stop of its tour.
