On the Move
In spring 2015, with VIDEONALE.15, Videonale Bonn celebrated its 30th anniversary. More than 1000
video works have been presented since the festival was founded in Bonn in 1984, and to celebrate the
start of the “season” and the end of the busy summer holidays, Videonale will be showing a selection of
videos from the last 20 years. In eight different works, “On the Move” presents physical, topographical or
intellectual processes of movement and change.

In contrast to the usually positive interpretation of “on the move” or “in motion”, these changes are described as moments under the influence of a remote control, from which neither the protagonists nor the observer can escape.
The programme, lasting for 90 minutes, will be played in a loop from 11:00 – 18:00 and can be viewed in
the auditorium of Kunstmuseum Bonn.
The entrance is free .
