Dance on screen, Screen Dance or Dance for camera... with a selection of CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES - choreographic clips with a length of 60 seconds - this commented screening exemplarily presents the interaction between choreography, film and media art and puts a focus on the diversity of modes of presentation and realisation. CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES understand filmic choreography as an indefenite reservoir of movement in time and space. They collect a variety of artistic positions which creatively react to movements, leave space for experiments and trigger the aesthetic dialogue with the (cinema)public.
In cooperation with Tanzrauschen e.V., Wuppertal
CHOREOGRAPHIC CAPTURES is a project by Joint adventures – Walter Heun in the context of ACCES TO DANCE. The project is funded by the Kulturstiftung der Stadtsparkasse München, ARRI Film & TV Services GmbH and Ancora Werbung GmbH & Co.KG.
